I really do like my guy friend. The thing is the school assumes the two of us are dating. Even my pshychology teacher said it was obvious I liked my friend and he's seen me talking to him twice for a split second. So far there are rumors going around and people are telling my guy friend about me but saying things like, "your girlfriend." etc and people are asking me if me and him are dating and calling him my boyfriend. It's annoying.
I knew back in Nov that he liked my friend that doesn't like him. I think he might still a little bit even when she's said he wasn't her type. And I don't know if maybe he's wondering what people would say if me and him ever hung out after school. I just don't know because he's so sweet to me but at the same time he avoids things or takes too long to get an answer from him about something. I just don't know if it's the rumors that's putting him off.

one of my best friends is a guy. pretty much the whole school believe we are going out. the people that don't think we are going out think we like each other. so i know how you feel about the comments.
And if you really like him talk to him try to figure out who he likes. casually bring up the question and tell him you can trust me i promise i won't tell anyone. if he likes you then ask him out!

It could be the rumors that he is hearing, he doesn't want people to think that you two are going out. Which is a shame, because who cares about rumors anyway?

You need to give this guy time to ealize that he has you already.
IT's one of those things where we want what we can't have.
Obviously he enjoys being with you and you two have something.
He probably does not realize this yet but give him time.
For now enjoy the time that you are with him.
If you really care about him you won't pressure him for more than he's ready for.
Until he does realize your worth, enjoy being with him and trying to understand what you really feel.
