First, your obsessing... stop that! It'll only make you do something stupid.
Second, be happy that you are spending time with her. DOn't put anypressure to do anything more than hang-out. Pressure to do more will push her away.
Third, maybe you do not really know her and these hugs are just something she does?!? Spend time with her and get to know her more while giving her the chance to know you more.
You have already let her know you like her so she knows. Don't tell her anymore unless she brings it up and if she does be calm. Ask her out casually, complement her randomly, let her know every once-in-awhile that you reallly enjoy spending time with her and think she's wonderful and tell her why calmly. Dont' rush her and don't push her.
Remember: Women are by nature confused and frustrating. It is there nature. Men have to be patient, understanding and nurturing.
If you like her just ask her out with no strings attached and if she asks why just simply say because you had a great time with her before and you like her company. Play it cool!
IF you like her it is better to be friends with her than scare her away and she needs to decide for herself that she likes you. She probably already does but doesn't want to admit it because women are silly that way. let her show you more that she likes you before you do anything to scare her away.

You're doing the right thing. It sounds like you've already talked to her. That was the first step! Now she's not really giving you an answer, but she's not running away either. Stick with it, she likes you too. Be patient and keep talking to her.

patience patience patience.....waiting sucks but it sounds like you are the one with the deepest feelings about a relationship. she may not be ready...take your time and keep trying to show you care (without going overboard). just be yourself and if it works out it works out if it dont it dont..
