How come the Hungry Man Dinners have so many calories in them?

Because they are full of high calorie foods like fried chicken and mashed potatoes and gravy. Even if you made those things yourself you would have a calorie-laden meal.

Most men are MEAT AND POTATOE men. Truthfully some men don't have to be hungry to eat. As long as their tummies are full, they are happy. Ever hear of the expression "don't talk to your husband on an empty stomach" Well that's your answer in a potaoe (nut) shell ,

Who cares, If you don't like the calories don't eat them. Eat Chinese food with a lot of soy sauce., I wish there was two pounds of food in there. I am 6 ft 4in and weigh 186 if you are a porker than you should be worried about it . Get your mouth sewn shut.

Because there big and since its packaged it has a lot of calories in it.

In many cases, you're eating a pound of food. That's a lot. Not to mention - look at what the food mainly is: fried.
