I really like this guy and one of my friends told him that I like him. So now since he knows I like him he doesnt look as me as much as he did before she told him
Is he just trying to hide the fact that he likes me?

no he probably doesn't want to give any wrong signals that he has a romantic interest.
doesn't mean that a relationship between you is not in the cards, it just isn't right now. either he knows that he isn't interested, or he's not sure. either way the best way to deal with the situation is to be upfront about it with him and not make a big deal about his response no matter his answer.
you never know this may not be the right time for the two of you but it may happen later. i'm a firm believer in destiny, if its meant to be it will happen when it should. good luck

yes, hes nervous and evey time he comes around u and he knows that u like him, he probably starts to sweat or what ever. flirt, talk, and dont be so unsure about ur self

Why don't you tell him that you like him. Then you can find out for yourself why he's not paying as much attention to you. My guess is that he's being shy.
