I bought a computer last year, it crashed last week and I had to do a clean install of windows etc.
The computer came preloaded with Nero 6 and I kept a copy of the serial number.
Will it be possible for me to download nero 6 somewhere off the web and use my serial number to get access?
Could I upgrade and use the same serial number?

The computer came preloaded with Nero 6 ..your computer restore cd cant be up to much can it that should have reload all the software that came with your computer mine does you can up upgrade if you want i Don't think the serial number you have will work for that what computer company did you buy your computer from i Don't think they know how to set up a restore cd

If you have Nero 6 be it on a CD or downloaded from a Web site, the Nero 6 you have will help you gain access to using the software without any hassles. have a great time enjoying your nero 6 software which can be obtained from Nero.com. If you have an update of the same version, that is an update of Nero 6, the you can install it without use of a key because it will update your Nero 6. But, if you down load Nero 7, you will require a Nero 7 key to be able to use it.

the serial number given will be compatible only with the version that is given in the CD. you can install that first and then you can upgrade to another version of 6 only but you wont be able to install version 7
