Start small, maybe some chicken or beef broth, with a few crackers. It's very hard after you've been sick and you're hungry, but if you push too hard, you'll be sick again.
Once you start feeling better, you can start with some rice(which is great for helping stomach bugs) and work your way up.
Stay away from dairy, since it may be too heavy at the moment.

Hope you feel better soon.

My grandmother always used to give me flat coke when I was ill. It's incredible, it lines your stomach. Then have toast or porridge. Simple foods. Don't have dairy or meat, they will upset your stomach. Wait a while. Try the coke - I swear by it! Put some sugar in to get it flat. I'm not saying coke is good, it has lots of sugar in it and isn't healthy but in this situation it's the best thing.

i know this sounds wird, but a piece or cadburys chocolate will help. It lines your stomach and it gives your body some sugar which it will be lacking in if you have been sick. MAke sure you drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated!

Dry toast. I know its not very flavorful but you will most likley keep it down. Try crackers or if you are feeling adventurous sip on some chamamile tea or chicken broth.

You could start by opening a tin of soup.
If you have some bread rolls warm them up in the oven.
Get stuck in.
That would warm you up nicely.

try a little toast, don't eat anything too filling like a big roast lunch.
stand at the fridge, food cupboard and see what you fancy, a little portion of anything should be ok.

Soft and plain food like porridge, steamed fish. Your digestive system will absorb the food better and you can recover faster.
