I recently had back surgery and finally get to go back to work. I work in retail management for a company that has cement floors, and I work 11 to 12 hour shifts some days. Some people keep tellling me that there are some brands or types of shoes (mens) , that are really good for the back, and the cement. Anyone know what they might be?

I know there are like dress black tennis shoes that are made for people who are on their feet all day. They advertise them as medical or food industry shoes. Also many towns have a store that caters to those with feet issues and have special and custom shoes for such situations.

Here is a store in my town, see them on TV all the time:

well...I don't know a brand but make sure they have good arch supports and they have a good insert that has some cushion...also...try to get off your feet for a few minutes every couple of hours...even if you just lean against a tall stool...to take the stress off your lower back...good luck

Hush puppies.

I generally wear hiking boots or cross trainers for my feet.

You should also invest in some good inner soles. I have some liquid filled ones, and once I started using them my feet have given me almost now trouble.
