A Big 50 Inch Screen TV....The peolpe were moving outta the state and had everything outta the house...i also got more but that was the nicest thing. it had a manafactured date of 091806 and i found it right before christmas 2006....

Lived in an apartment, this one day I look out my window to see this man hauling, a computer desk, chair, 19 inch monitor, keyboard, printer and computer to the dumpster.
(I was on second right kiddy corner from the dumpster) So I open the sliding door and ask," Would you like some help?"
(You could tell he was pissed at something and having a heck of a time hauling this stuff to the dumpster).
The man yelled," Sure have it if you F#@$^ want it to lady!"
So I go out to help him, only to find out all is only 4 months old!
He then tells me, " I came home to my wife packed up and gone. The B#@% met a women on the chat and left me for her!" Feeling really bad I then subjected he just leave the stuff at me apartment until he had a chance to cool down.
Now 3 years later and I still have all of it.
Oh and the man he moved back to Ontario Canada.
Happily remarried, met a nice lady at church.
So defiantly- One man's junk is other man's treasure!

We lived in an apartment in Las Vegas and every month would do to the dumpster and go through all the things that the people would leave. We found clothes and kitchen stuff, baby things and furniture.

I found a $20 bill stuck to the inside of an empty trash can. Just walking past on my way home from school, and noticed green on silver.

2 vintage glass bricks, dumped on a nature path. Cleaned up they are sparkly and beautiful. Floating bubbles wave pattern.

I dont think I ever found anything. I heard that is where you could get things from, but I havent been lucky at all.

My neighbors put out a beat up chest of drawers. Knobs were missing and veneer was badly scratched, we brought it in, refinished it, bought new knobs and it looks like new. After our neighbor saw the finished product , she wanted it back.
