Battery life is expended if you fully drain before charging, otherwise they gradually start holding less power each time they are recharged

NiMH batteries are an improvement over the older NiCAD batteries. They do not need to be run down before recharging.

This is a big advantage for use in cameras, because you can always "top off" the batteries before a photo shoot. NiMH batteries don't reach their full potential until they have been recharged several times.

The amount of charge time depends on the charger. Watch the indicator to see when it is done.

Some chargers are slow; some chargers are very fast; some chargers don't completely charge the batteries. You can find reviews on chargers if you want the best.

Good Luck
