My doctor just prescribed Requip for my RLS...can anyone who has taken it tell me about the side effects you may have experienced? The sheet that came with the medication said some scary things like nausea, vomiting, fainting, sweating, falling asleep during daily activities (like driving the car). This frightens me....I don't know whether to take it or not. But the RLS is really bad...I cannot sleep because of it. I have actually gone 4 nights in a row without sleep because of it.

I took it for about a year. I had no side effects. It just didn't work well for me. I still had too much stinging and movement. The dr. changed mine last week to a different one and it's doing much better. I hope the reqiup works for you. I understand about the sleepless nights. Good luck
