If you remarried, which spouse would you be with in heaven (assuming you loved them equally)?

I know alot of people don't believe this but: you don't go to heaven when you die. You lay in the grave and wait for the resurrection. That is the whole purpose of the resurrection. No one goes to heaven when they die.

Marriage is a thing of the mortal life on earth. Such ties are dissolved in Heaven because the Church will be the Bride of Christ. Will you meet them when you get there if you both go? Yes. Will you be considered married when you get there? No.

Not according to the Bible, it says there'll be no marriage, it wouldn't be fair anyway, what about people who never got married because of whatever reason. how would they feel in heaven with everyone reuniting with their spouse? it wouldn't be heaven for them.

I dont think itd be like that. I dont think ppl would have romantic realationships, not like here on earth any way. Maybe in a diff way.
We wont really know until the day comes.
I do think tho, that we might be able to recognise ppl we knew to some extent.

Yes you will reunite with them, But you won't be married to them as we know marriage today, That question was brought up one time, by my 2nd wife, My 1st wife passed away in 1989, & my 2nd wife husband pass away in 1985, Now we both are married to each other, Her question was who will I & herself be drawn to in heaven, I say to both your first husband & to me & the same with me about my 1st wife, It will be my 1st wife & my 2nd wife, but it will not be as it is on earth, there is NO jealousgy in heaven. Because in heaven we are not given in marriage, & neither do we marry.

With death, the sentiments die. Assuming both ascend heaven also, there may not be any such sentiments there, as in earth.

Hi,
You will know who they are, but you won't marry if that is your question. Jesus was asked this question by the Pharisees, and Jesus responded by saying no. In a more explained way, but no was the answer.
