Britain uses restraint. Now that Iran's Prime Minister Mottaki has indicated Iran insists that Britain admit their mistake and is backing down on releasing the female hostage, perhaps the SBS will be on its way. The US will back Britain all the way, I am sure.
The Israelis have a different situation because they live in the Middle East whereas Britain is far away. I believe that it why Israel acts more swiftly.

Because the country's currently run by soft in the head left-Labourites who don't believe in that sort of thing............ Personally I'd give offer Iran a simple deal - hand them back within a certain time limit, or get a rude morning alarm call in the form of a Trident Nuclear missile. That + would have given the Forces patrolling the gulf authorisation to blow the cr*p out of any Iranian vessel that gets within firing range after the last time this happened.

Thank God you clarified your country of origin. It's quite scary sometimes to read the message board and realize that it is the Americans that calling for war with Iran. I'm American and the majority of us are just waiting for the o.k. from Blair. We are all praying for the soldiers safe return.

They are using restraint. This is something that I think not going to work. The only thing is to take a couple of the Iranian Navy Vessel.

It may come to that - however we're not as gung-ho as other nations so we'll see if we can talk our way out of it before throwing a tantrum and killing thousands of civilians to get our way. Iran is (hopefully) bluffing and just wants to put on a hard man face, and get some prisoners back in exchange.

Happen before. So maybe they are just letting it develop, and see what happens. Hope this helps. But I hope this has a good outcome, and they come home safe.

The absolute last thing world economies need is another unwinable war. Pray that diplomacy will win the day! (It seldom has but one can hope)
