I do listen to a variety of songs slow to fast. But I was told that fast or slow it is still Christian songs and it's song for God not depend on my feelings for it. Yes, but I don't feel comfortable. Does it mean that in order to please God, I must sing it too.

Bible does say to lift your hands in praise. Also the original Hebrew text of the name is actually spelled out by our very fingers. So that goes along with holding your hands up, for you are literally spelling HIS name.

HE states to worship HIM in private and to do HIS good deeds in private with no glory. I will leave how you worship up to you.

As long as its not "hate" music of some sort, bad words, slang against a race, etc., about any music is fine. I myself listen to a very wide range, including techno, rap, metal, pop rock, classical, new age, country.......

Here is a good redo of a well known song:

The bible never said such a thing, but it told us that Paul was singing in his prison caught by his restrictions. Anyway, It is up to you, and everybody has his own way in worship. You may raise your hands or not regardless of the people around you. You may like slow or fast songs. You may turn up your voice or turn it down .......... What is important is to worship God from all your mind, your soul and your heart.

The bible speaks about the lifting up of hands as a form of worship. But no one can tell you how to worship. Worship must come from the heart. And that's one thing that God knows all about.

In psalms (sorry do not know verse) it talks about how you can worship in many different ways, raising hands is just one form, and is mostly done in baptist churches.
I know how you feel, I wasn't brought up to do it and feel strange when people around me do.
Worship is a personal thing between you and god, you definately don't have to do it a certain way. God made everyone unique, and worship reflects this =D

Nope personal choice!! Doesnt matter what everyone else thinks. Do what you feel confortable with, It is btn you and God. As long as your heart is in worship then im sure God wont care how you do it. Remember Freedom in Christ!!

(EXODUS 9:29) “So Moses said to him: “As soon as I go out of the city I shall spread my hands up to Jehovah. The thunders will stop and the hail will not continue any longer, in order that you may know that the earth belongs to Jehovah.”

(EXODUS 9:33) “Moses now went out of the city from Phar′aoh and spread his hands up to Jehovah, and the thunders and the hail began to stop and rain did not pour down on the earth.”

This requirement is part of the Old Testament, that Jesus did away with. It is not necessary to do this any more.

People do that because they feel the Holy Spirit is moving them to do it. People feel the Holy Spirit move them in different ways.
