I'm going to make a guess that your question is about one of 2 things either lowest as in ppl saying 1. their blood glucose readings are low or 2. ppl being low rated bec they have diabetes.
If 1 it is true that someone else setting all your rules determining what you eat, when, how much insulin, how much exercize, etc. could help a person overcome temptations and keep a lower blood glucose level but other than for a small child or a mentally or emoptionally disabled person it is unrealistic and impractical. When my husband was first diagnosed as diabetic 20 yrs ago ppl said you have to make him (this that and the other) that does not work with an independent adult it just produces conflict and leads to cheating on food and med to prove who is boss. Far better to learn for oneself how to set limits and stay healthy.
2. Lowest as in put down. If I hear one more person tell my husband he can't have this or shouldn't do that I may scream before he does - especially since he is a more tolerant soul than I am. No one with any disability should be put down or controlled excessively because of it. I have seen him needing OJ with added honey bec of a low blood glucose reaction and someone try to take it away from him like they knew better and were going to boss him. UGH! The best approach in my opinion is to tell others what you need from them, inform thiose who absolutely need to know and inform them enough so they are useful, make sure one or two ppl at least that are with you a lot at work, school whatever know the signs of high and low blood glucose problems and then do what you need to do to stay in good control yourself and not let the whole world make your business their business and even get a chance to try to control you. Irregular blood glucose can lead to the lows of depression but that too is something for the person themself to be the primary one dealing with and for them to become aware of their needs and ask for help if/when they need/want it.
I am not sure if this answers what you need so if not pls post again with more info on what you need to help us do better.

if you are diabetic we are not all at are lowest some people are at there highest right now.it has nothing to do with control it has to do with genes, compliance with diet, exercise, taking mediations prescribed as directed and other md recommendations.if you are diabetic its in your CONTROL to keep your blood sugar levels within reason(what md said).if you think its a CONTROL issue i wish you the best its your health not a conspiracy against you or the public its for your best intersest as well as others.diabetics are not concidered the lowest in the health field, try female heart disorders etc........................

Control, control, control, control, control, control. Control.
Control is what's human about us, though.
