I guess I'm just mature for my age (17), but along with wanting to do what most guys my age want to do (rush and join fraternities, party, etc) I wish I could just skip all of that and just get married. Ofcourse, I do intend on partying and living the college experience (unless I DO get married) but I'd rather find my sweetheart and cuddle w/ her until the stars burn out. I most likely am not going to get married 'till later because I am young, but is this strange of me to want??? Most of my friends just want to join a fraternity, drink beligerantly, and have random sex...
Just to make clear...It's not like im really ugly with no friends and have no life lol. I've had my fair share of opportunities with girls. I have been heavy on the party scene. I just think my wife-to-be would appreciate it if I didn't have sex with a lot of girls before her because I know I would want my future wife to limit her pre-marital experience.

Intelfem7 - thats rediculous. infact its so rediculous...its kinda funny. im 17, goin to UA next year, rushing pi kappa alpha next weekend, goin out with a sweet girl, and have thuoghts a lil different than most guys my age....tahts about it. if u dont believe, if u really care that much, u can look at my facebook.

That's not abnormal, just a lot of guys give into the peer pressure to act otherwise.
Anyway, chances are if you have this attitude, you'll find a girl that will appreciate it. Especially a couple of years down the road.

You're a frat boy, face it.
Mature for your age? Maybe, for your age, but not as mature as you think.
What's the pic for? (I confess, I didn't bother looking at it.) Seems at first glance like a way on the sly to mac on the girls who would think oh he's mature and sweet, let's try him out.
Just marry her, and live the life. If you've got the world by the tail, you do, so make your choices and live with them.

thats nice i like that im 17 also and i tell people that my boyfriend is my husband i like what u said so much because i relate a lot 2 it i dont do a lot of things like party and go out on dates because i have every thing i want in him i have been with him since i was 13 yes he's my only boyfriend we have had problems but we always work through them we also have a son that is one he is another reason we love each other so much thats are world he means every thing 2 us thats what keep us going strong every day because befor him we was happy but with him we also have priorities and that put your family first and thats what we do so are love is even greater from that

Just find a girl to love and try a relationship. Be sure to enjoy college.
You'll be surprised that your future wife may like that fact that you're experienced. You can show her all sorts of tricks in bed. Just don't tell her how you discovered them.
Wanting to get married is not a sign of maturity. Don't flatter yourself.

that sounds weird for me coz approximately man lives 70 years, as a guy you can marry at 30 or 35 so u will have single life 30 years and married life 40 years... if you get married at 17 you have 53 years to be wid your life,,, i mean... how do u feel wen u meet the same person for 53 years... its nice to get married wen you really prepared, beside can u make a living? you're underage you cant produce enough money for your family..
