Anyone know where I can get an air intake for a 89 Sentra without costing too much? Also will I have to do anything special to the intake or can I just attach it?

Wheelzie - Do you know where the Air Box would be and what does a POD looks like or where would I get one? The reason I'm asking is because I'm new with this kind of stuff and don't really know that much about it. Also do I leave the air filter I got on there or do I remove that?

well, if you know a thing or two about cars its pretty easy to install it, you just take your stock intake off and attach the other one, it should come with like 2 tightening rings i forget what theyre called, one is a big tha attaches to ur engine and the other small one attaches to the air filter, check on ebay they sell tons of intakes for practically any car

You mean a CAI?

okay having an air intake alone will do jack all

You need to install a Pod and CAI setup in one or else you will just be sucking hot air. Install your Pod where your existing air box is, then run a 3 - 4" flex pipe from your front bar to your engine and have the outlet blowing straight into your Pod.

The reason im telling you to install a Pod as well is that just installing a CAI will do absaloutly nothing to your cars performance. You need to combine the CAI with a Pod.

The intake you buy (Assuming its a decent model) should have information as to what you may need to modify.
