Are you seeing a cardiologist? If not , it might be a good thing to get it checked out with a specialist... yes, as someone else said, you can die from untreated heart irregularities, such as A Fib...

You can get a pulse oximeter on ebay to better watch your pulse rate...the little finger tip one by Nonin is very good...some sporting goods stores may have pulse oximeters for sports uses also...

Obviously, you have a cardiac history. No way can anybody determine via the computer that you are "passing out from A-Fib", but just the fact you said so is concerning. Get yourself back to your MD and tell him of these events. If you are experiencing an episode and can't "make it" to the Doc or feel very poorly, lie yourself down and call 911.Perhaps your meds (Digoxin) levels require altering.

Call your doctor...do you want to responsible for an accident on the highway? What if you kill some one. A-Fib is not something to be messing around with. Are you taking digoxin or something else, did the dose get increased, have you been taking it how it was prescribed? Are you taking herbal supplements, is this a new condition? CALL YOUR DOCTOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, YOU COULD DIE IF YOU LEAVE THIS UNTREATED!

What other medications have they tried, (calcium channel blockers are not the usual first line therapy) and what other medications are you currently taking? Why are you not on Coumadin? How old are you and how long have you had this? Has this been evaluated by a cardiologist? When is last time you saw your doctor? As a healthcare provider I would have these answers immediately if you came to me.

My brother had his heart stopped and restarted and it went away but did return. Some people it goes away and doesn't come back. The proceedure has high risk associated with it and if they use a lot of jouls restarting your heart you'll have burns for a while! My brothers took 400 jouls and he has permanent scars from the burns!
One thing my cardiologist tells me is DO NOT take any medications without checking with him first and NO over the counter anything!
