I would like to day a 3-5 day mini-vacation to a beach. Are there any sites where I can search for airfares only by supplying my departing airport? My destination will be decided more by what kind of fares I can get than by the location.

That's right, I don't care what beach I go to. So, if I'm leaving from the Louisville/Lexington (KY) area, what beaches are a good deal either flight or drive wise?

Different sites like kayak and travelosity have special deals.
Just log on and check them out.
Also check out the Sunday pater in the travel section. There are ads with special deals.

Not very specific on what kind of beach looking for but I'll assume any will do. Cape Cod is nice and if you get there before the summer rush, you can find efficiencies/rooms for as little as $175 wk. Best beaches in New England and some great stuff to do. try travelocity for a plane fare.

Check out Yahoo travel. Orbitz.com and expedia.com are also sites you might like. But with all of them, I think you have to put an arrival destination. You can check for all the destinations you might consider but you'd have to do it one by one.
