I am a self confessed 80s rock/metal fan. I like right across the board from hard rock to speed, thrash etc. I also like some nu metal and I like The Darkness. I just wondered if other veggies/vegans liked Rock.

Some famous veggie Rockers are Bryan Adams a fellow vegan, Rikki Rockett (Poison) Rick Allen (Def Leppard) Phil Collen (Def Leppard)

I asked this question a while ago and I liked the answers. I did make the most egregious mistake and asked my husband to thumbs up cos I wanted go to the loo. The twit gave them all thumbs down. I don't know how to remove the thumbs down and was gutted . I had to remove the question.

LUCKILY - I e-mailed people to apologise. Hope they are still speaking to me!!!!! :0(!!

Yeah, I see yr point but I don't like getting TDs if I feel I have done a genuine good answer. I felt for these kind people. Plus I want to know if there are any veg/vegan rockers out there!

Oh yeah! The first band I ever saw live was AC/DC in 1982, closely followed by Slade !! Then a Dutch band called Krokus, but we only went to see them because a mate was drumming in the support band.

My big love for the last 25 years or more has been the Zep (*) - total rock gods of the world! Still gives me goosebumps when I hear one of their tracks on the radio.

My tastes have broadened in recent years and I also listen to a lot of Counting Crows, Neil Young, REM, Red Hot Chili Peppers, as well as lots of blues, bit of folk, a little pop (but only what my daughter makes me listen to in the car).

(* Just in case any youngsters read this and think "who the hell is the Zep", it's the one and only Led Zeppelin)

I saw The Darkness in concert.
:)
I am not too hard rock these days though. I'm sure I have a ton of Poison, White Lion and possibly Striper cassettes in an attic somewhere.

As far as vegan musicians, I dig Moby... not so much his music as what he has to say, though I know I have liked music by him.

I saw him on MTV cribs and thought he was super cool because he was nice, vegan and lived in a 1-bedroom apartment instead of all those ridiculous mansions.

I own more Smashing Pumpkins cds than any other band ever thanks to a couple years of insomnia and ebay.
:) Billy rocks!

But these days I am more into alternative and chick-singers. Love pianos.

I like listening to most rock, but as for heavy metal I like only a select few. I don't like harsh language in music. A few rock or rock/mix bands I like would be "Brian Adams" music is great! I also like "Cold Play", "The Cranberries", U2, "Goo Goo Dolls" There is more I like but those would be a few.

I love most rock, and recently my daughter decided she would go veggie, being of a decisive age, I went veggie with her to study the nutrient side. Months later, we are both fine, and we still like rock music. not met your husband though.

I love veggies and I'm in the rock band CROTCH. However, I'm not a true veggie or vegan...sometimes carnivore... I love healthier recipes with spinach, hummus, potato, mixed greens, beets, peppers, and antipasto.

Removing a question (along with the answers that people took the time to write) just to remove the thumb-downs?

Uh...okay...I think you're taking it a bit too seriously:)
