I'M SICK - Need Emergency help with bills do you know of any organizations that can help?

Hi! I'm suffering from Coronary Artery Disease and triple heart bypass was unsuccessful. So have all heart caths for stents. I'm about to lose my home and car. Does anyone know of any organizaions that can offer help until I'm well and able to work again?

Wow, I am sorry to hear about your circumstances, there are alot of organizations that may be able to help. The first place is your local Department of Social Services, and you didnt say how old you are, depending on your age there are various agencies that help the elderly. There is a place called Catholic Charities, I dont exactly what they do, but I know they can at least point you in the right direction. Also try and look in the telephone book under charities. I will pray for your situation to get better. I hope this helped a little.

try and petition your state for help. Find what district you are in, go to your congress persons website and state your case. It couldnt hurt. I dont know for medical bills, but I needed my congressman three times in the past and guess what? He helped every single time. Republican Joe Knollenberg from Michigan. I never thought they would give a second glance but it re affirmed my belief iin government.

Contact your local "catholic charities" (no you don't have to be catholic)

There are church organizations that help the community pay bills in time of need.

Also, contact Red Cross. If you don't have a "catholic charity" in your area Red Cross can help with bills or info on who to contact.
