ok i have a longterm bf but still contracted it and since found out bout the ive been completely turned off sex the thought of it even makes me feel kinda dirty andone else felt this way?

Don't worry, its completely normal!
When I first got herpes, it made me feel dirty. I didn't feel like sex at all, and didn't think anyone would ever want to have sex with me again.
Wait until you come to terms with what you've got. You'll soon accept it. And then if your going to have sex; go slow. I was scared the first time after, but going slow helps.
Learn as much as you can about transmission of what you have. And teach your boyfriend about the STI. Once yous are both comfortable with it. Thens the time to go for it.

It is an understandable reaction at a psychological level. I am sure you now feel betrayed and guilty and have begun to see sex as dirty. If your mindset continues you may require therapy.

It's just part of life i caught gonorrhoea and the test with the swab was enough to make me think thats it no more sex but heck we all need it so just enjoy... stick with a regular partner

It's probably just a mental block, ie this is how you caught this in the first place.
You will get over it and be raring to go in no time.
