The blood test will look for usual things - HIV, Hepatitis etc. If a certain thing is not being looked for it won't be found, unless it is blatantly obvious

Well...depends on what you are looking for...sometimes you need a bloodtest...sometimes you need a culture. For instance...when I was diagnosed w/ Herpes 1 & 2 they did a culture...then they (precaution) tested for clamidia and the others...where as the blood tested for hiv and hep c and so on...but the test requests have to be specific...you need to tell your dr what you are suspecting you have? or have been exposed to? Be honest...it's your health...and remember...for every person you sleep w/...it's like sleeping w/ dozens! (if this is the case)? Not accusing of course....Best of everything and great health to you!

Most doctors run a series of routine blood tests that test for the most common conditions, but not all.
It is important that you talk with your doctor about specific symptoms or concerns that you may have so that they can order the correct tests.
Please remember that, even if the lab CAN run a test on you, they aren't allowed to unless your doctor specifically orders it.
If you are worried about having AIDs and don't tell your doc, we won't test for it.

hell yeah.
your blood is a dead give away when it comes to taking blood test, they can also tell if a women is pregnant by a simple blood test, even if its only been 2 days after none protected intercourse
its your life support, without it we would have no heart, therefore no life, all your white, and red blood cells are contantly in motion, and they can also tell if there is really anything wrong with you they check your white blood cells then go from there, if its low, you may be animic, or something else.
they can also tell if you do alot of drugs, drink alot of alcohol by a blood test, and taking meds, they can tell that to, bone deficantcy, cancer, s.t.ds, h.i.v., aids, just by counting your white blood cells first, then your red.
i hope thats good enough for you.
ok hun.
good luck
