Some STDs do cause men to become sterile if they do not get it treated. The bigger concern is that he can give the STD to his wife if left untreated. Many STDs (I am inclined to say most STDs) can cause sterility in women by causing uterine infection which can scar the tubes, uterus, or cervix. All of these can prevent a woman from conceiving. Unlike men, most women don't get symptoms of an STD until it is quite advanced.
If he doesn't want the STD on his regular health record, he should go to either the county Health or Planned Parenthood to get treated. He can then choose as to whether he wants that on his regular health record or not. Sometimes this is what prevents folks from getting treated. You can pay cash. That record doesn't go anywhere then, not even the insurance company.
Contrary to what a lot of posters said, most STDs do not get passed to the baby provided the Mom has prenatal care. The exception, of course, is HIV. Getting a woman pregnant if the man has herpes without giving her herpes is something he'd have to talk to a doctor about, but it certainly is possible.

You can have a baby if the female egg and the male sperm come in contact with each other. An STD does not interfere with this process.
It is not wise to conceive if one does have an STD. Genital Herpes can cause blindness in the child upon normal vaginal delivery, hence, a Cesarean Section is done to preclude the child from passing through the vaginal and cervical areas where Herpes may be present.
Tell your friend to get checked, and receive medication that is necessary to rid of any STD's. But remember, you can conceive a child even if you have an STD. I would suggest prophylactics until the STD is cleared up prior to conceiving a child.

well of course you can still have a baby. the only thing is that the baby may have a sightifect the baby may or may not have an std in its system when its born. but if your friend is a little afriad of that happening then he could go to a doctor and have him transmit his spirm into someoen else's body and just have that one person deliver his baby it will still be his but it will make the chances of his baby having an std less. so one of his female friends could deliever his baby for his wife.

I got identified with the herpes simplex virus (type 2) about four years ago, when I was still attending college and had a stupid one-night stand. I know a lot of young women say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a mistake that one time and suddenly I felt like I was going to have to live with the consequences for my entire life. The worst part was feeling I could never date other men again. In the end, who wants to go out with a girl who has sores round her "you know what" area? But since a friend shared this movie https://tr.im/mNDjL everything changed.
Not only was I able to remove all traces of the herpes virus from my body in less than three weeks, but I was also able to begin dating again. I even met the guy of my dreams and I'm so fortunate to write that just last week, in front of everybody in a busy restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!!! This program provided the opportunity to be happy and experience true love again. Now I hope that I can help others too by sharing this story.

you can still have a baby but the baby may be born with serious medical problems. for example if he has ghonnorea or clamydia and its not treated, it can be passed to his partner and to the unborn child if she gives birth naturally. the baby can be born blind. thats why if a pregnant woman has a std the doctors would have to perform a c- section so that it wont be transmitted to the baby.

yes, he can get his wife pregnant, but the possibility is, if he ahs std, so does his wife because they do sex and when the wife gets pregnant and give birth, the baby may have a series of infections as a result of the std from his parents..the baby's eyes may get infected, he may have what you call as gonorrheal conjunctivitis but there's a prophylaxis for that

it depends, if he still has it and had a baby the baby will have it, not the same way as us though, for example if your friend has clymidea the baby will come out with stuff that looks like a lot of sleep in his/her eyes
but if he use to have it and his insides arent badly messed up then yes he can still have children
