Never ate one, I do however put them into food items containing avocados so that the avocado does not turn brown.

I don't. I whack the pits with a knife and plant them. More avocados for me! OK, in several years. And they'll be free then!

someone in one of my raw food groups says she blends them and adds them to smoothies-it makes no sense to me, but to each his own
