Could be an ingrown hair, a small cyst, or a pimple...of course it could also be HPV (vaginal warts) they are also found outside of the vagina. Your best bet is to get HPV ruled out by going to your doc, then if your in the clear, get vaccinated!

It could be a boil or folliculitis. These are caused by a very common bacteria, staph aureus which is not an STD. Moisture and heat down in that area are a nice home for bacteria. Sounds like it has already come to head meaning pus it at the surface. Don't squeeze it because you could spread the bacteria to other areas. Wash your hands well after you touch it. Take warm soaks in epsom salt. Put drawing salve and a band aid on it and leave on. This will dry it out. If you are really worried go to the doctor and they will check it out. Some of these infections require a short course of antibiotics. Looser clothing as in boxers and cotton underwear may help prevent it from happening again.

Sounds like a in-grown hair to me. One thing you don't want to do it to make it worse. Firsts things first. Everyone tell you just to leave it alone but to tell you it would go away as fast just to leave it alone. Take a pair of tweesers. I know that sounds painful but you have to do this to make it go away faster. There is usually a primary hair in the area. If you remove that hair and then leave it alone the infection will go away. This may sound wierd but a little bit of neosprin and a band-aid will help you from not picking at it. If this doesn't work talk with your doctor and get some testing done. This will make sure that you don't have a STD or infection. Good luck!

It is possible that it is a pimple, but please see a doctor- it is possible that your sore is turning into an abcess (collection of puss and blood) due to a pimple or an infected hair that has gotten out of control. Don't freak out! They will put you on some anitbiotics and may, depending on the severity, numb the area and open the wound to allow it to drain out the infection. I see this all of the time since I work in the ER-

It's a pimple or ingrown hair. Wash with gentle soap and leave it alone.
