Well from this number I would suggest you may have high blood pressure. Normal Blood pressure is 120/60. The number you have given here can only represent the lower number and any number over 40 is concerning. It would be nice to know the top number ?/50. Please do not suggest that 50 is the top number as you can not be walking and talking with such a low BP as you brain will not get perfused properly and you will pass out.

Actually "normal" is 120/80. And a diastolic (second number) number of 50 is not alarming. You need to know both numbers, so you can have a better idea of what's going on with your blood pressure. Be careful of free medical advice that you get online, despite whatever credentials people tell you they might have.

Well my Grandmother was complaining she felt ill so I took her to the doctors. She had very low blood pressure to the point where they could hardly get a pressure on her and she was freezing cold with a cold sweat. No nausea, no stomach cramps, and no diarrhea. The doctor said she had the flu and sent her home with some cough medicine. 1 week later I was at her house calling 911 - she was having a massive heart attack! I would go back to your doctors and tell him you want and EKG done! Don't fool around with this - get yourself checked out!

You go to a good cardiologist and have him check, examine and test your heart! And don't wait till it's too late. I'm talking from personal experience!

Good luck.
