A.) 5'3" and 125 lbs in NOT, in any way, fat.
B.) What your dad is doing to is verbal/emotional abuse

If you consult the Body Mass Indicator, you are of a healthy weight

Even if you were overweight, he would have no reason to talk to you like that.

Please talk to a school counselor or someone you trust. He is very wrong in what he is doing.

I hope you are a vegan for other reasons than to lose weight. If you do want to lose pounds, then eat more healthy carbohydrates. Such as whole wheat bread, pasta, etc. Also, veggies really have very low calories, the more you eat produce and fruits, the more your body will lose. At 5'3" and 125 lbs, that does not sound overweight to me, actually is a healthy weight, screw what your dad says! How much does he weigh?

Thas horrid! And you are not fat anyway...
Being a vagen doesnt neccessarily mean you will lose weight...there are still fat sources you can get fat from, besdies meat and dairy.
Unfortunately for you, it sounds as though you have inherited the low metabolsim gene!!! Making it hrad for you to burn calories. You will just have to wacth your wieght like everyone else- here are some tips.
eat brekky-kick starts your meatbolism
exercise in the morning-ditto
do sit ups lunges etc to tone the body
watch what you eat!!! salads, eat less bread, but dont go crazy! dont lose too much in a samll amount of time.
good luck

You are not fat compared at all to me.I am 160 lbs.And I am fat.My cousins in my family call me fat and that hurts me.I wish I could lose weight.I feel like starving my self sometimes. That is how bad I feel about my self. And I had a baby.So that has a lot to do with it.Now this hurts my feelings. So you have nothing to worry about. You are not fat.Try walking in my shoes for a day and you will see how It feels.

Do you exercise? Even though you are Vegan, you still need to exercise, despite most of the stuff you are consuming is mostly water.

Also, make sure you are getting proper protein in your diet from beans and nuts if you are Vegan. Protein helps you burn fat.

Are you eating grains? Getting enough fiber? This also helps.

Do you want to be a Vegan or are you trying to lose weight? You sound like you are in this to loose the weight. Vegans aren't Vegans to loose weight. You need to diet if your goal was to loose weight. Try going to your doctor and getting a referral to a nutritionist so you can get acurate information based on what you are trying to do.

Do research on BMI based on you age, height and weight and you will be able to find out if you are healthy, overweight or obese.

A vegan diet will not necessarily help with weight loss.
There are lots of junk foods that are vegan: chips with salsa and guacamole, soy ice creams, vegan pastries etc.
You need to watch what vegan foods you consume.

you wont lose weight just because you cut out meat from your diet.
i wouldnt consider 5'3 and 125 lbs over weight either
