even though i don't endorse limewire and don;t use because i don't believe in piracy if you just either turn the firewall of or add limewire to the exception list then your problem should be fixed.
oh and don't listen to the guy who says a girl had to pay 750 a song because no one has had to pay damages for more then a couple dozen songs and usually they agree on a settlement which works out for the girl

Limewire will still connect through most firewalls. What firewall are you using? What antivirus do you have? I know McAfee is good at blocking Limewire. I have Windows Vista and McAfee Antivirus and I had to un-install certain parts of McAfee in order to get Limewire to work.

You can still using Limewire if your Firewall is on. All you got to do is allow the port of Limewire(Do this on Firewal Setting-Allow Exception.

go into options in limewire or your firewall and make sure you are able to connect still. otherwise if it's your windows firewall you might just have to turn it off when you're on

You don't want to connect to limeware. A lot of cops are busting people for that ilegal site. A girl in my town has to pay $750 per song, and she had hundreds of songs.
