Sounds like a boil. Use warm compresses and if that doesn't help then see a doc for antibiotics.

If it is a boil just to let you know you will always have them. It's just the way your skin is. Very sensitive. It's like a in grown hair. Put hot hand towel on it so the puss can come to a head and push it out so it can leak. Like a zit. When it leaks it will feel so must better. You can also take a hot bath with epsin salt. They will come and go. They can be gone for a couple months and then all of a sudden another one appears. But go to the doctor to make sure. I know how bad they can hurt. It sucks! Good Luck.

If the area is red, and there is a puss like substance coming out when you squeeze it, then it's probably just a boil. Which is nothing to worry about. Still in all, I would get that check out by a doctor!

You should be at a doctor's office checking that out instead of relying on information give on here. The only way to know what it is for sure is to have it checked out by a professional. Until you get that checked out I would suggest that you abstain from sexual intercourse.

if I had a gooey lump in my genital area, I wouldn't rely on Yahoo Answers to diagnose my problem.
Call your doctor ASAP!

Probably a bartholin gland cyst. It should clear up in time but can be very painful before it comes to a head.

could be a ingrown hair, very painful, the center is sometimes soft from where the puss is gathering, and it feels like a tumor
