Yours is not responding to diet and exercise and you HAVE to take the prescribed medication. Whether it's a pill or injectable insulin. No one wants to take it, but it is a life-threatening disease that you have to control. Sometimes the disease can be controlled and then it gets worse--through no fault of your own.

I think you should take your medication. Diet and exercise are the most important thing you can do. Just because you have to take medicine doesn't mean the medicine is all you will need. With proper exercise, diet, and sleeeeep you will probably be less reliant on medicine but will still have to take it. Don't play around and go blind or become an amputee because you didn't take the medicine, diet, exercise and get proper sleep. All these work together. There is no cure for diabetes but it can be managed. Get your weight down if possible. If you can't get your weight down quickly that is normal but always exercise. Not three times a week but everyday. I wish you well.

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.

Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

We all as diabetics ask ourselves thes questions everyday. Why, why why. I do not like taking medications at all either, and I realize that if I do not take them that my levels will get out of whack and that I may end up in the hospital and have more serious problems than just having to live with this terrible disease.

We can treat it and live with it. We can sometimes do it with diet alone and exercise, but when we try this and our levels are still somewhat out of control, then we have to have extra glucose medications to help remove the buildup of sugar that is in our bloodstream.

it depends on the type of diabete you have. Because there's Type 1 diabetes mellitus which is insulin dependent and the Type 2 or non insulin-dependent.. The type 1 is acquired at birth or caused by an auto immune process and needs to have insulin shots for life. Type 2 could be modified by diet and exercise..if this can be controlled, you may not need to take insulin shots for a lifetime

Well it really depends on the type of diabetes you have. If you have type 1, then yes diet and exercise will not suffice because your body does not produce any insulin.

Type 2 diabetes is sometimes controlled by diet and exercise because in a type 2 diabetic, the pancreas is making insulin, but sometimes it is just not enough.

Diet and exercise are not always effective for everyone and not everyone adheres to a strict diet and exercise regimen to control their diabetes in order to stay off meds. Contrary to what one responder has advised (Ven-Cure), there IS no cure.

You do have a choice: continue with diet and exercise and take your meds or have diabetic complications much sooner than you should and shorten your life considerably.

Choose wisely, my friend.
