Vegetarian means you don't eat any meat at all. I have been a vegetarian for almost four years (no meat whatsoever) because I oppose the way animals are treated in processing plants. If you want to know more you should check out meetyourmeat.com but be warned, it has some graphic images.

how silly. Its still a dead animal. And if you think commercial animals are fed a vegetarian diet, think again-their feed has the ground up organs of other dead animals. You take it all in along with your protein and B12, growth hormones, steroids, antibiotics, blood, pus, urine, feces, parasites the works. If you dont mind eating those things, knock yourself out

Technically you're not - you're still eating meat, you're still killing an animal. But everyone defines their diet restrictions differently - do what you're comfortable with!
