Not too bad but yes, a bit high. Is it a constant 152/89? Do you have anxiety? Do you have anxiety when they take your blood pressure? Optimal pressure is below 120/80. If it is constant then you should see your doctor and manage it. Elevated blood pressure is very easy to manage. Hey, if Joe Montana has it, anyone can get it.

3 years ago, I was diagnosed - hypertension with a reading of 160/100. I used to feel dizzy a lot, my legs had awful cramps, and levels were very low in my potassium, causing my fingers and toes to always cramp together. One day I started to feel really faint while I was driving with my daughter in the back seat and I passed out, hitting 3 cars and ending up in a ditch. That moment,I knew I had to do something because my meds weren't working. I heard about this diet from a friend and thought I'd give it a shot. The results have been remarkable. In just 21 days, I honestly can't remember feeling this good, my blood pressure went from 175/110 to 125/70.

What I know that when my BP reading at one time was 180/90 I was put on medication by my doctor, he gave me 5mg of norvasc x2 perday. But on my next visit my `BP was just 150/80 he smiled and said very good!.you can now continue taking your medication and dont stop it.What I understand here is that once you are having BP than regardless of good or bad reading you have to be on medication and hypertension is not a playing things. YOUR BP got to be your baby forever. Sure your 152/89 is on the safe side but dont be too sure it might shoot up to 200/120 or more at any point of time without you realising it.

How old are you.... It's not extreme but borderline ... How often does it run these numbers.... How often do you take it?
Are you stressed, overweight or smoke... All these come into play as well... If it's running consistently at this rate or higher then you should have it checked...
