my friends grandmother has heart problems and yesterday we were sent to get digoxin .......when we came back to the house the label on the bottle said lanoxin! so we are trying to figure out if the Lanoxin medicine could make her condition worse.

Lanoxin is the generic substitution for Digoxin. They are the same medication, they will do the same thing. The generic is cheaper to get filled and several patients use the generic medications.

Lanoxin and dig are basically the same thing. One is generic, one is name brand. No difference.

one is generic one is trade. but they are the same thing. the one she has is the generic which means its going to be cheaper than the dig.
