I've been using for about 3 months and am wondering if it bothers your stomach, such as nausea or stomach discomfort?

You have to eat between 0-60 minutes after injecting Byetta. Adjust your time when you eat to see when the nausea does not affect you. If you take the Byetta abd wait more than 60 minutes it will not work and cause nausea, or if you take right after you eat you will get really nauseated.
I take my Byetta and eat within 10 minutes of injecting it and it seems to have stopped the nausea.

I can't speak for myself or any other Type 1's but my friend and her husband are both Type 2's and both have told me 6that they have had upset stomachs after taking their shots of byetta and have decied to take their shots and wait about 45 minutes later and eat. I don't know but maybe their right. The least I can say is try it and see if that helps you. Good Luck!

byetta is known to cause stomach discomfort, adjust your carbs and make sure you have all your other medicine adjusted by your doctor to compensate for the byetta
