The totally banning of smoking cigarette from restaurants, bars, all public places and government establishments is a very good idea and law passed by the law makers in any country. Cigarette smoking is really very dangerous to life because of the nicotine taken from smoking a cigar.
When ;inside a building or room of an establishment, smoke could not easily move out from a room or establishment whereby non smokers will be affected by the blowing of smoke from smokers of cigarette. It will cause danger to ones life.
Speaking on religious matter, smoking cigarette is prohibited by God according to the bible as it destroy your life and body resistance. It was commanded by God to protect our selves from injuries and sickness in order to show love to ourselves.

People have been smoking in public for over 500 years. Even though it is a stinking nasty habit, it is no worse than people who use perfume, or cologne, or fry foods.
I feel that a space should be provided for smokers if you ban it in public. Why don't we ban the use of hair spray or cosmetics.
I believe the bar or restaurant should decide if they will allow smoking or not. If someone does not want to go there because of the smoke -then fine. Don't penalize everyone because you don't like smoke. Go to a smoke free bar-there will be plenty. What if they banned beer, wine and whiskey from the bar.

i think of it would be style of not straightforward to police those that smoke in inner maximum properties. As a former smoker i'm happy there is not extra smoking in restaraunts and bars, on an identical time as quickly as I did smoke i presumed it replaced into gross. comparable with bowling alleys. Who desires to take their young toddlers' bowling and have them coming back smelling like smoke and having to respire it interior the full time? To the remark a pair of bar proprietor might desire to enable smoking in the event that they like. What concerning to the bartender that doesn't smoke? Or might desire to that be a element of the interest that the bartender might desire to be a smoker or not recommendations respiration in smoke. comparable with restaraunts, there are a lot of servers who do not smoke and had to be subjected to working interior the smoking section. Why do human beings have this type of huge concern with going outdoors to smoke? Do they actually prefer their alcohol so undesirable that they might't take 5 minutes to flow outdoors to illuminate?

Restaurants, government establishments.. I can understand that. But bars and clubs I dont think the rule should be in place. It's part of the atmosphere and the majority of the people there are already sh*tfaced and don't care, if you don't like breathing in smoke, work somewhere where you don't have to. I have no interest in "giving people cancer" with my secondhand smoke, but where I live they have a rulewhere you can't even smoke within 25 feet of a building... ridiculous!

I support banning smoking in restaurants and government establishments, but think that if a bar has a separate area with a separate ventilation system that they should be able to allow smoking in that area.

I think it's the best idea ever! As a non-smoker with allergies, I hated dealing with the smoke in bars and restaurants. They've banned it here in NJ most places and it's fooking beauteous!
Sorry non-smokers, I know you probably hate the ban.

I have a child and I make sure I don't go to a restaurant where's there's smoking. I think it's very inconsiderate for people to smoke outside of a restaurant. So I think it's great for restaurants and gov. est. are non-smoking; bars are different i don't go into a bar and expect there to be no smoking.

It's a violation of my right. As a bartender myself, I find banning smoking in bars ludicrous. Smoking and drinking go hand-in-hand. I know I personally will not embrace an establishment that bans it. If someone doesn't want to be around it in a restaurant, most offered non-smoking (before the gun-ho anti-smoking campaign). What's interesting is, the study released by the EPA, THE study that touts second-hand smoking harmful, actually disputed it's own findings. There are lies, damn lies, and statistics.

I think smoking should be banned, period. It's a stinky nasty habit and claims too many lives every year. They make you wear seat belts don't they. Why? To save your life. A total ban on smoking would save a heck of a lot of lives. And to answer your next question...yes, I smoked for over 50 years. That's why I know it's a stinky, nasty habit. Best day of my life was Jan 7, 2000 when I quit for good.
