No but their will be meat with plant genes and they may well be plants with meat genes - already there are genes spliced into some foods and some meats.

anyways, plants are made of cellulose, not flesh. Meat is flesh, cellulose is just fiber (well to us, dietary speaking) so no plants cant have meat.

there is NUTS ! no it's not like a plant will ever grow a chicken wing,, but NUTS are the meat of the plant world! And properly refereed to as meat , somewhat different meaning ,yes ! And if you don't eat meat your nuts lol

Some plants have a fleshy core but that is where the similarity to meat end.

No, meat comes from mammals or other animals. Plants grow out of the ground. So it is impossible.

I'm with ZCT. Plants and animals are different by definition. It's like asking if white will ever be made of black. It can't, by definition.

Plants and animals have different cells. By definition a plant cannot have animal cells or it would be an animal, not a plant.

with all of the genetic modifying of foods going on, it could happen. Already, cabbages and soybeans have been modified with everything, including scorpion venom (to make them more resistant to pests) Unless you grow your own veggies, heaven knows whats already in modified foods-which don't have to be labeled as modified. You are already eating modified vegetables if you arent eating organic
