I would get something on the way home from work and finish it beofre you get home. Be sure to share a cup of broth with him so that he doens't feel like he's going through it alone. Hope all goes well! Cheers!

Good luck with the colonoscopy! His choice to have this proceedure and the subsequent food he gets to choose before it probably doesn't reflect on what you eat or don't eat. I probably wouldn't get his favorite meal and eat it in front of him, though. And, perhaps you can enjoy some broth with him while eating something more substantial that he doesn't care for.

Show up in a trench coat and nothing else...He will forget all about the dinner. If he does...Eat the same thing he does
Then chow after you leave the hospital

Be supportive, and have clear liquids with him. Make it special in fancy cups. It will mean a lot to him to do this with him.
If you really HAVE to eat, sneak a sandwich or somthing when he doesn't see you.

I not sure what I do. but What I think I might do is try having what he is having, that way it's easier for him. Also you can try asking him if he doesn't mind you eating something that you want to have.
