You can have ahealthy and happy abby, but you may not be able to have it vaginally. It may require a c-section to eliminate the chances of your baby contracting your virus. And if you do pass it having a baby vaginally it usually attacks teh eyes and eyesight. if you do get pregnant your dr will talk to you. my friend had 3 kids and had that for 8 years.

I'm not sure if I read this right. You are treating your genital warts with paint?? Paint will probably irritate them even more and will certainly have NO affect on making them go away.

If you have genital warts the best thing to do is to see a doctor! They can give you a prescription for some cream that can be used at home at your convenience. There are two different creams available with a prescription: Condylox and Aldara.

If neither of these creams work the doctor may suggest using a stronger medication such as Podofin or Efudex. These medications are applied at the doctors office and need to be applied several times. This is usually very costly because you have to make several appointments to see the doctor.

If your warts are really bad or you don't want to wait for the medications to work, a doctor may suggest you have them surgically removed.

Even if you have successfully removed or treated genital warts, they can ALWAYS come back. Just because the warts have physically gone away doesn't necessarily mean you got rid of the virus that causes them - HPV. For most women HPV does go away on it's own (their bodies basically "fight it off"). Some women will have HPV the rest of their life though. There is NO cure for HPV.

And, to answer your actual question - genital warts should have NO affect on you trying to conceive. If you have warts and become pregnant, the pregnancy can actually cause the warts to grow and become more irritated. It's also possible to spread HPV to your baby as it is coming through the birth canal. If you have warts present when you are giving birth, the baby can rub against the warts as it is coming through the birth canal. This is VERY rare and can be avoid with a C-section. Good luck!

Yes, you can have a normal sex life as long as you both have the same type of genital warts. However, if you are planning to have a baby, you had better consult with a doctor regardless.

you can have a healthy baby with genital warts, but chances are your doctor will tell you to have the baby by c-section. It hopefully will keep the warts from spreading to your baby as it will not becoming into contact with the area that has warts.

I have a family member who also has this. They performed a
c-section when she was due to keep the baby from contracting them.

Well HPV can be transmitted congenitally but having HPV will have no direct mechanism in preventing or complicating pregnancy.

You can have them removed by a GYN. Do-it-yourself treatment will not be effective. See the GYN.
