The original plan was that man would not SIN. But because man sinned, the other plan went into effect. Animals were not intended for meat. The original diet for man was fruits, nuts and grains. Then after the flood vegetables. Note: vegetables were gonna be for the animals. Had man not sinned. When Noah took the animals on the ark there was not gonna be any plant life so animal consumption was to be done. Then they were to follow the guidelines of the clean and unclean meats. (Although it's stated in Deut. and Lev. doesn't mean the timeline when it was written was when it happened.) After reading the story of Noah you'll notice that 7 clean animals were to be taken on the ark and 2 of the unclean. This number of 7 was so that Noah and his family would have something to eat when the water subsided.
In the earth made new I'm sure that we won't be eating animals. I can't image a slaughter house in the new heavens and the new earth, Paradise.

He made humans from meat too. Would you tell people to save money and eat their children? I don't not believe in god, but if he does exist, and he made animals, then he did intend them for eating any more than he intended humans for eating, And by the way, did you know humans are animals? WHAT? You didn't!? Well, what more should I expect from a meat eater who thinks god made animals to eat?

lol about the last bit...thats kinda stupid!
Well, he made them from meat...but let me tell you these 2 facts:
1. cardboard is made from trees...do you eat it? NO. But the body CAN digest it, so that is like saying why did God make trees if e werent supposed to eat them.
2. We are also made from meat, but i bet i woudnt catch you eating a fellow human, or animals such as a monkey, giraffe, etc.
Therre are many reasons behind this, nad many justifications. Now is not the time nor place. I will onyl get aload of abuse back from meat eaters.

God never intended anything except that humans should eat from sources provided on this world. It is man himself that determines what he eats and not God. If certain people only want to eat vegetables, them let them, that means more meat sources for the rest of us.

We were vegetarians initially, but after God flooded the earth, he then said we could eat meat. If you look at the time line, people's lives start to get shorter and shorter.

What you call "meat" is actually muscles and related tissue. The question would be just as valid if you substituted the word humans for animals.
This question is incredibly stupid to anyone who has studied anatomy and physiology for more than five minutes.

You are made of meat too. Meat is flesh. Besides that, even if there were a god, vegetarianism was made by him as well.

When we were created God wanted us to live in the garden of Eden everything was provided for us. When Adam and Eve was kicked out of the garden we had to find our own food.

tell yourself whatever you need to make yourself feel less guilty. Its your karma. Living Animals provide you with milk and eggs, and thats not enough to satisfy your greed, so you kill them too. When you stuff your face with decaying animal flesh, feel good about it, if it makes sense to you. Its simply doesn't to me. The ripe, juicy peach I am eating isn't bleeding, screaming, or dying
