Most STDs are either easily curable, or at the very least manageable. They may have a certain "eww" factor to them, but that's easy to treat with some reason, education and dignity.

However, babies are not as easy to manage. While it may be much easier to love a baby than genital warts, you're going to have to pay for that baby for at least 18 years, probably longer. Moreover, odds are against this kid's success. Children born to unwed teens are far more likely to grow up poor, do poorly in school, not finish school and get into trouble with the law.

When was the last time a syphilis chancre ditched class or tagged a wall?

I'll take my chances with the STD. Herpes can be suppressed with drugs. Gonorrhea and chlamydia can be cured with a single mega-dose of antibiotics (they only cause infertility if they're allowed to fester). People are living longer than ever with HIV thanks to drug therapies. Cervical cancer is slow and easy to cure if caught early, but I got my vaccination already anyway. And warts, though ugly to see, can be removed.

but you realize this question is kinda like asking me: would you rather shoot yourself in the leg, or crush your arm under a heavy pile of rocks?

i think a similar way. the sole distinction is that I wont wait until my daughters are childrens. I even have already had questions from my 7 year previous daughter approximately intercourse. I answer certainly yet i don't indulge. she will ask what she desires to appreciate. I even have discovered by using her that she hears a good form of issues at school and that they are actually not inevitably the certainty. i think of intercourse ed is going on for years. this is not in basic terms a one time element. i think of all mothers and fathers might desire to be arranged to talk ANY questions their babies have. reliable success which includes your daughter.
