LOL I'm guessing this is a joke aimed at the fish and chicken eating 'vegetarians'

Well.........
From the previous posts you probably see that there is no such thing as being a one day vegetarian.
But some vegetarian sources of protein are;
tofu, beans, meat replacements like 'Morningstar' products.
Most supermarkets will have anything from frozen veggie burgers that are ready to eat within 2 minutes to frozen fake chicken strips, to frozen fake ground meat.. and so on.

And NO, those have not been created because we miss eating meat, but it's for the purpose of creating a whole meal, and recreating a dish that we love that needs a protein or a texture that just cannot be achieved with beans or tofu or even tempeh.

You are not a vegetarian if you only exclude meat on mondays, I eat meat and I don't eat if every day. You are making yourself sound like someone you are not, and you don't have to replace your diet with anything as you don't have to eat meat EVERYDAY... you make real vegetarians look like a joke because of your claim of being one. A vegetarian is someone who because of ethical beliefs refrain from eating meat. ALL meat ALL the time. You can not eat Chicken or fish and say I am a Vegetarian. Look at a lot of religions they don't eat meat on fridays, does that make them a frietarian...

the term is silly, but if you want to go veggie, its easy. I don't eat the fake meats-I find them pointless. I eat lots of beans, legumes, pulses, lentils, quinoa, mochi, rice, millet, and lots of fresh vegetables and fruits. Meat is a mindset, nothing more. Its something you are used to. I had to give up many things, including bread, cakes, cookies, crackers, etc due to food allergies, but when I reframed the way I thought about it, it was okay. You dont need meat. Plain and simple. A grilled portabello mushroom makes a great "burger"

I wouldn't worry about it. The rest of the week you are already filling your body with rotting flesh containing antibiotics and hormones so you are on your way out as it is. Eat a carrot...they are easier to scoop out of your belly during the autopsy.

(Curious to see who really took this seriously) DUH! LOL
