Satch, you must be a non smoker. As a smoker, let me ask you how many people die, are irriversably damaged by the production of pesticides, plastic manufacturing and metallic coatings? People are not allowed to die of old age anymore. They MUST have an attributable cause
. Just because someone smoked and developed lung cancer doesn't mean that they might not have been suceptible to die from lung cancer anyway.It has become fashionable and politically correct to attibute all lung cancers to the evils of smoking Look at all the other causes and also a predjudiced inpute to inherrited DNA.. I'd be the last to say smoking is Not one cause of lung cancer. The agenda of certain organizations, government agencies and proffesional associations, has a lot to do with garnering more power .And in the end more power means more money and prestige.

There is no number that is for sure! There is no way to prove that their death is because of smoking. So any answer you get for what the statistics say is wrong! Unless you want it to be right!
