If your hand just happens to have HIV positive sperm or vaginal fluid or blood or breast milk embedded into its nails.
Even so, HIV can't live in the atmostphere for more than 30 seconds.

HIV is spread by the contact of body fluids,blood most of all then the others, sperm, vaginal fluids, etc... So if you are masturbating solo then your risk is 0.Though if you are masturbating with a partner then your risk is much higher as you can come in contact with that person's bodily fluids.

No, masturbation is not sex, and you cannot contract HIV from it.
