Im a vegetarian but i want to gain some muscle mass to tone up my body, i work out every other day, i take a GNC mega-multi vitamin daily, and get plenty of rest but i know that it's all a waste unless i eat alot of protein to build muscle, so are there any high protein foods out there for weight training vegetarians?

Check out this guy. He's a completely vegan body builder who has won competitions. I've seen him speak. He know what he's talking about.

It is very possible to gain muscle mass on a vegan diet. Broccoli has more protein than beef does, ounce for ounce.

Morningstar Farms and Boca both make veggie foods high in protein- try the veggie dogs, they're really high for a small size. What about eating carbs too? If you're not vegan, try ice cream! NOTE to Gustav - VEGETARIANS DO NOT EAT FISH !!!!! IT ISN'T A VEGETABLE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lots of soy, spirulina, tofu, and beans together with rice make a complete protein. Make sure you get enough, your body is going to demand it.
