I was just thinking about this the other day. If people can get STDs at such a rapid rate, couldn't animals? <3

Yes, animals do have STDs but they are not the same as human ones. I only learned this last year when chatting with a rancher at a rodeo (they give vaccines for STDs in cattle).

Absolutely!

They are slightly different from the STDs that affect humans. But STDs affect ALL sexually reproducing animals and plants.

There is a feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV), which is similar to HIV.

you could seize STDs from animals in case you have intercourse with them. Bathing a canine and washing their genitals won't supply you an STD. in case you have been having intercourse with a canine i prefer to propose seeing a physician in spite of any indications you will possibly be able to or would possibly not have. flow away the canine on my own. in certainty, get it a clean abode.

Absolutely, there's feline AIDS and feline leukemia, both transmitted via body fluids, just to name a couple. A multitude of STDs among all sexually reproductive species.
