knowing that most people (some have also included you into it) use just 3% of their brain a walnut is still bigger.
Moreover, want to eat really healthy, my advice is either move out of this world or stop eating with insecticides and eye catching toxic colours added to food, nothing is safe and healthy. The fact is more so for non-veg as that picks up toxins faster than vegetables.
By the way, can you provide your source. If you really have not cooked this up or are really unbiased please provide the source of your controversial topics so that if found wrong, at least you don't get the blame and unnecessary rumours can be avoided. REMEMBER! this is an open forum and even children, with impressionable minds, read it.
In future, be cautious before posting such questions as you can't deter anybody else from his/her choice of life.

I believe you can be vegetarian and still sustain a healthy body. I also think you can be healthy having meat in your diet.
The study you site is like so many others we have read in that scientists tell us "X" one day and "Y" (the opposite) the next day.
Whether you choose to be vegetarian or not may not really matter. I think what does matter is our food supply. Unless we eat organic, or at least natural, foods - the risk of contamination is frightening.
Eat a balanced diet of organic or natural foods (including natural meat if you wish) but also try to eat a reasonable size portion. We have become a society that simply puts too much on our plates.

Have you been reading Fox_hunter guy's medical journals? Most studies show that vegetarians are more intelligent. Out of all of the groups on BBC's 'Test the Nation' Vegetarians had the highest IQs.
BTW if that is true then we won't get brain tumours the size of your fist, cos they wouldn't fit into our weensy brain's, so every cloud has a silverlining eh!?!

Foxie -- back in the witness protection program, I see! Man, you must have torqued 'em off big time in Veganville. . .did one of those big mean city inspectors decide to show you personally how the concrete mixer works?
And as usual, you're producing a study with zip, zilch, zero documentation. While you're in hiding this time, why don't you have someone buy you a nice style sheet and study how to cite sources and provide verifiable references.
Word to the wise -- those nasty vegans know about this little thing called IP addresses and how to check them. Don't use the DSL or cable modem. . .stick with dial-up. That way, nobody can hunt you down and force you to eat tofu.

Professor Yore, with his associates Phull, Oov and Schite, quickly published a rebuttal noting that B12 is not found in green leaves. They also postulate that the original authors and the asker are suffering from the onset of Alzheimer's from excessive consumption of prions found in animal products.
You should have used myeloplast (producer of white blood cells) instead of miloplast. Then you could make the argument that the excess white blood cells get bored and attack the brain.

What a load of piffle! Try doing a search on any of the names above plus the word vegetarian and what are the results - nil, nada, zippo, a big fat zilch.
Wonder why? Oh, could it be because you made it up?
If you didn't make it up, I challenge you to publish a link so that we thoughtful, intelligent vegetarians can read the study and its results and make up our own minds.

You are saying that vegetarians dont eat healthily.
Let me ask the same question in role reversal.
Would meat eaters still eat meat if they found out what was in it?
High cholesterol, blood, lots of fat, etc etc. No point arguing about protein-the protein from animals has been proven not to be nearly as good as the protein from other sources.
It The meat you eat is turned to fat, i know someone who has a disease because they ate too much fatty meat as a child (TRUE STORY i swear)
Anyway, this is not the point, the point is, meat eaters also eat vegetables, and probably almost as much as vegys,
There is no point trying to persuade me to eat meat-not when i know how the naimals are treated.
So NO i will not start as you said 'eating healthily' again.

Thats preposterous...too laughable. Did you ever do your homework about this? Do you know that animals do not produce B12 naturally? It is given to them in their food and with supplements, making the B12 available in the meat. The same way B12 passes through to the meat, and becomes a source of nutrition for humans, is the same means that allows the growth hormones, steroids, antibiotics, blood, pus, urine, feces, cholesterol, diseases the animal had, and all other sorts of stuff to come through in the meat too. No one who knows the FACTS about meat could possibly call it healthy. I first grader could figure out that its not. I get all of the vitamins, B12 and others, that I need naturally. Meat eaters get it because it is given to the cow. Do a little more research before you post ridiculous things such as this. I can show you many "studies" that are bogus.

Since when has the Government or health professionals promoted a *5 a day* campaign for meat? Well? Doesn't that say that veg is better for you than meat?
