I have started juicing at home, but just the quantity that will be consumed immediately.
Does anyone know if I can make a whole batch for two of three days and keep it in the fridge?
Does it keep? Or it defeats the whole purpose?

The enzymes in the juice will break down very quickly, losing vitamins and taste. I have juices for years, and have learned that juice must be consumed within 15 minutes of juicing, or it gets slimy. If you are doing a single veg or fruit, such as carrot or apple, it will keep for the day if you add a squeeze of fresh lemon or lime, but the quality deteriorates. Those enzymes work fast! It breaks down to quickly to save.

You actually cannot keep fresh juice for three days. It is best to drink it immediately - like Beebs said - within 15 minutes or so. If you are dead set on juicing in advance, keep it in an air-tight container and consume it w/in 24 hours.

I feel your pain - that's one of the most frustrating parts of the juicing process.

I used to juice, until I grew tired of the mess.

I preferred to juice only what I was going to drink, but you can hold homemade juice in the refrigerator, covered for up to 3 days. Best to store juices in a glass pitcher with a plastic wrap top. Plastic could stain, metal is not recommended, and the glass will allow you the visual of seeing how much juice you have and as reminder that you have it.

If you're juicing combinations like carrot/orange or others, you may find they separate. Simply stir or shake to combine before consuming.

Happy juicing!
