Please explain the dangers of having sex without condom , with referrence to the diseases that could be transmitted and how they could be transmitted ?
And other possible dangers, excluding pregnancy ...

Honey, I have been there since the start and successfully raised two daughters about this stuff. Let me tell ya a little story. I am so sorry to all of you who followed us. We did not know what we were doing to society and I apologize for my active participation for so many years. Here I refer to the feminist and playboyist movements that our generation was being shaped by, the movements that allowed the seeds of free love to take root in such fertile hallowed ground.
When we began the free love movement in the 60's and 70's, there were only two problematic diseases, syphilis and Gonorrhea. The others, herpes, chlamydia, etc, were virtually unheard of. All you needed for these two illnesses were one of 3 or 4 available always successful medications available from any doctor or free clinic.
The only fear was pregnancy and condoms or diaphragms or the IUD or the pill took care of that. Then free love began to charge interest and new problems arose. Uterine cancers. Herpes both oral and genital appeared on the scene. Then chlamydia and strains of hard to kill syph and gonorrhea. Then along came AIDS the stopper of them all.
Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) are infections that can be transferred from one person to another through any type of sexual contact. STDs are sometimes referred to as sexually transmitted infections (STIs). These involve the transmission of a disease-causing organism from one person to another during sexual activity.
It is important to realize that sexual contact includes more than just sexual intercourse (vaginal and anal). Sexual contact includes kissing, oral-genital contact, and the use of sexual "toys," such as vibrators.
STDs probably have been around for thousands of years, but the most dangerous of these conditions, the acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS), has only been recognized since 1984. That is when "free love" closed the bank books down and began to charge full interest rates.
Many STDs are treatable, but effective cures are lacking for others, such as HIV, HPV, and hepatitis B and C. Even gonorrhea, once easily cured, has become resistant to many of the traditional antibiotics. Many STDs can be present in, and spread by, people who do not have any symptoms of the condition and have not yet been diagnosed with an STD. If not treated within a certain time, syphilis and gonorrhea will result in sterility and mental disease. When my mother was a new nurse, she was put in care of several victims of this disease. It has also killed quite a few people in history.
There really is no such thing as "safe" sex. The only truly effective way to prevent STDs is abstinence. Sex in the context of a monogamous relationship wherein neither party is infected with a STD also is considered "safe." In truth when you sleep with someone, you sleep with every one they slept with and everyone they slept with... it goes on forever unless you stop it in its tracks yourself.
Most people think that kissing is a safe activity. Unfortunately, syphilis, herpes, and other infections can be contracted through this relatively simple and apparently harmless act. All other forms of sexual contact carry some risk. Condoms are commonly thought to protect against STDs. Condoms are useful in decreasing the spread of certain infections, such as chlamydia and gonorrhea; however, they do not fully protect against other infections such as genital herpes, genital warts, syphilis, and AIDS.
Prevention of the spread of STDs is dependent upon the counseling of at-risk individuals and the early diagnosis and treatment of infections.
So, to answer your original question, this is all a natural result of casual sex. Sorry to break your bubble kiddo but this is how it is. In thousands and thousands of years of the traditional heterosexual contract things have been limited. A few miscarriages and single parents but nothing near the epidemic scale it is at now.

I got identified with herpes simplex virus (type 2) about 4 years back, whilst I was still in college and had a stupid one-night stand. I know lots of young women say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a huge mistake that one time and all of a sudden I felt like I was going to have to live with the consequences for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date other men again. After all, who wants to go out with someone who has sores around her "you know what" area? Gonorrhoea, caused by a bacteria. Early stages can be cured with antibiotics, but later stages might result in sterility, or causing blindness in a newborn baby's eyes. (because when the baby exits through the vigina, the bacteria may enter into his/her eyes) Symptoms include discharge from vigina or penis, and may experience pain when urinating or having sex, and will have frequent toilet trips.
HIV, which can result in AIDS.
Unlike Gonorrhoea, which is caused by a bacteria, the HIV cannot be killed by antibiotics. no cure has been found yet.
other bacterial diseases that might result, i heard of one that causes mental illness, but i forgot the name. but bacterial or fungal diseases can be killed by antibiotics, if you spot them early enough.
but sex WITH condom might result in diseases too..depending on how you use it. like for instance, it could slip off and be left in the woman's vigina without the couple knowing it, and it might rot there. or, some men or women are allergic to latex. yeah.

Barbara put it to ya well. There really isn't anything else to add to it. One thing I can add though is that some stds can be cured and some can not. Bacterial infections can be cured with medication and it is possible to keep getting the same std even though it was "cured" the last time. Viral stds can not be cured: you get one and you have it for life. There are medications which can help managed the illness but the virus stays with you whether you like it or not!
