what's wrong with my dog?

she has shortness of breath and a dry nose

It might be asama. Take your dog to the vet. Somethings do not go away with out medication. Sometimes when a dog is in pain their breathing changes as well. Hope everything turns out well, good luck! A sign that your dog is sick is a dry nose, hope she gets well soon.
