ok, if u want sumthin betta than a PB&J...try makin this one dish, its a sandwich, and spicy too!
i dunno the name, cuz i made it up...but try it!
maybe Sabjhi masala wrap/sandwich...

1. 1-2 cups vegetables of any kind, or beans, daal(lentils) or even panir(bought at any Indian grocery store...its like cheese)
2. for a wrap, use a roti chapati, even a tortilla or pita(like a pocket) or for a lil americanized...slices of american bread...
3. ghee/butter/oil...2-3tbsp
4. 1tsp of all/eitha: fennel seeds, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, kalonji, or ajowain seeds
5. 1/2 onion, sliced or chopped(optional)
6. 1tsp garlic in any form(optional, u can modify dependin on ur taste fo garlic!)
7. 1/2tsp ginger, minced/powdered/paste...(same deal w da garlic)
8. chilles of any kind, jalapeno, red, whateva...
0 for no spiciness, 1 for extremley mild, 2 for mild-medium, 3 for medium, and more if u want it Indian hot!(put a slit in the chilles to let the juice come out!)
9. 1tbsp haldi (turmeric in english)
10. 1tbsp chilli/cayenne powder
11. couple pinches of salt
12. 1/2 tsp black pepper
13. cilantro sprigs (optional)
14. curry leaves(optional)
15. fenugreek(optional)
16. 1tsp garam masala(optional)
17. 1 tsp sugar
18. 1/4yogurt...for the condiment
19. chopped/sliced tomatos(optional)
20. lettuce/spinach/greens...raw
Method:
1. if using potatoes or any otha raw vegetable...boil them in water first! or microwave for like 7-10mins to be quick!
2.once u got whateva base item prepared...if whole veggies, make sure they chopped well!
3. take a large pot/wok...and heat the ghee/butter/oil on medium/high or medium heat.
4. once fully melted, add the items #1-5, n cook until a lil browned. keep heat medium!
5. then add items#14-15...u can also add tomatoes at this point if u want
6. than add haldi n chili powder...keep stirrin ingredients to avoid bein burnt/stuck to da pot
7. than add item/s #1...keep stiring, n leave heat on medium for 10mins approx, or until cooked
8. add salt n pepper, n u can switch heat up a lil if desired
9. when the ingredients look nearly done, add items#16-17
10. if items lookin kinda too dry, u can add a lil water...
When the food is cooked, it should have a kinda soft, mushy texture...almost like a thick dip! color should be a lil brown, w a nice glowin tint from the haldi (a light brownish, golden color)
11. taste test, if somethin aint right, u can add more of the ingredient missin, more spice add more chili powder, more flavour-more salt/sugar, more zing, more garlic...also...lemon/lime juice will go great too n gives a nice zing to yo food!
12. when confident that the dish came out right, take it off the heat, if not fully cooked, u may move da heat up...but watch the food so it dont burn!
13. For a sandwich: 2 slices bread, add a nice portion, about 1 cup of the masala dish onto 1 slice of bread, than add items#18-20! u can add cilantro sprigs to add decor
For wrap, its da same thing, except u gonna take da chapati and place items in the center, and fold it together, like a wrap!

well, i hope u enjoy...its an Indian recipe, but kinda modernized!

You don't need a recipe for a sandwich, do you? Just get bread and put stuff in it!

Ok, I like an avocado sandwich with baby spinach, sliced roma tomatoes, red onion, and a little oil/vinegar/oregano/salt on a firm whole grain bread with nuts in the bread.

Or roasted zucchini, roasted red bell peppers, caramelized onions, cucumber, and egyptian-style baba ganoush (a sort of dip or thick sauce made from roasted eggplant) with cilantro, all in a nice pita.

This is a yummy sandwich. Just get some bread. Add lettuce, cucumbers, a bit of cheese, onion, grated carrots, red and green bell pepper slices, green olives, and any other veggie you might have lying around. Top with some italian salad dressing and there you go.

this is an exciting situation. the government coverage is that the flight plans of those planes (even if the President is on board or no longer) is 'might desire to be attentive to' in elementary terms. The interior of sight aviation government and the Mayor have been recommended (a minimum of on the bureaucratic point). the conventional public replace into no longer. Is that the fault of the administration for following written coverage or the fault of the Mayor's workplace for honoring written coverage? nicely for sure as a effect an empowered selection maker ought to have the two canceled the flight or made the plans time-commemorated. lots has been made approximately getting a 'image-op' yet that replace into in elementary terms a secondary explanation for the flight (and the popular explanation for the flight course). however the flight replace into for training. yet are you able to think of the mock outrage that could desire to be heaped upon the administration if that they had merely image-shopped the plane over NYC?

Please is a nice thing to say when you're asking for something, but I'm sure you'll feel much happier after you eat!

One of my favorite sandwiches is a grilled chicken breast with avocado, mushrooms, Swiss cheese and sour cream on a grilled focaccia or toasted whole grain bread. Try that without the chicken, it would probably work pretty well. Or a grilled cheese and tomato panini, those are delicious. Peanut butter and banana on whole wheat is good too.

Good luck!

onions, squash, zuchini, bell peppers, mushrooms...if you have all this you got a great sandwhich. if you are in a hurry, sprinkle your vegetables with salt, pepper and olive oil and balsamic vinegar...microwave it...for 1 to 2 minutes...soft and tasty...if you have time, grill or or broil them. Any type of vegetable is great this way...

For quick fixes, when you grill them make alot and keep it in your refrigerator. Also, you can keep cooked potatoes in your refrigerator and then fix them up quickly when you are hungry, just all it to your favorite veg mix and eat...
Enjoy...

Make a grilled panini. Use your favorite condiment on the bread- pesto mayo, oil and vinegar, plain you choose. Put a piece of cheese on it- usually white pairs best and your favorite grilled veggies. Grill the sandwich to taost it and melt the cheese. Will be yummy.

Or just grill pb & j

there is this awesome fake meat stuff that looks just like meat and tastes the same but actually is completely veget. You should also look up all of the different things you can do with tofu. I no it sounds gross but it actually tastes pretty amazing if you do it right.
